Wisteria brachybotrys 'Shiro Kapitan'

White Silky Wisteria

Wisteria brachybotrys ‘Shiro Kapitan’ is rare outside of Japan and is a first-rate garden plant. Its sweetly scented white blooms appear with the leaves in spring. It is easy to grow and a vigorous climber that will twine counter clock-wise on a sturdy support. In fall the showy seedpods are covered with downy fuzz. This vigorous vine needs to be trained for the first 3 years to establish, then requires annual spring pruning after flowering.
