Leathery Polypodium

An elegant plant with thick, leathery leaves rounded at the tips, this epiphyte is right at home perched on trees and rotting logs, clinging to rocks, or creeping along the ground. This Pacific Northwest native prefers a shaded, moist environment with loose, acidic soil. It will slowly spread to form an evergreen, deer resistant groundcover.
