Duchesse de Lorraine Itoh Peony (PP26,907)
This fully double yellow Itoh Peony has very large blooms with up to 150 petals, completely covering any stamens in the center. A tantalizing fragrance is an added reward. The numerous flowers appear on the ends and along the sides of the sturdy branches, which stay upright without staking. Attractive green foliage maintains on the mounding plant well into fall. Plant with the eyes, or buds, of the roots 1-2” below the soil line in moist, well-drained soil. Exhibits deer resistance.
