This dwarf Lawson’s cypress has flat, ascending sprays of foliage that glow with brilliant yellow. The golden color is most intense where the feathery foliage gets the most sun, creating a unique optical effect, and the dense branching gives it soft, ruffled texture and a full, conical habit. Moist, well-drained soil is a must. Raised as a seedling in the 1920s at W. H. Rogers Red Lodge Nursery in Great Britain.
