Acer japonicum 'Vitifolium'

Grape Leaf Full Moon Maple

True to the name, the leaves of Acer japonicum ‘Vitifolium’ resemble grapevine foliage, but they appear on a tree with a stiff, spreading branch structure. The soft, fluffy leaves, light-to-robust green from early spring through summer, change in fall to a spectacular display of orange-yellow and bright red. Early, showy, red and white flowers add extra ornamental interest. Tree performs best with filtered or full sun in rich, moist soil.
