Lawrence Japanese Wisteria
Acknowledged by many as the top lavender-blue cultivar, Wisteria floribunda ‘Lawrence’, is noted for having more blooms per raceme than all the other Japanese Wisteria. The 12-18” racemes are loaded with as many as 160 flowers. The dark green leaves turn a nice yellow in fall. The seed pods are abundant and large with one to five seeds each. Train this vine on a pergola over a garden bench where a visitor can enjoy the lovely flower scent.
