This dramatic, slow-growing Korean Fir is named for Shakespeare’s King of Fairyland, a tribute to its regal qualities and dwarf form. The irregular, rounded conifer produces striking color and texture with unusually short, wide needles that are dark green on top and white beneath. In winter, showy white buds decorate the plant’s many short shoots and add its year-round beauty. Best in cooler climates with full sun or part shade, and moist, well-drained soil.
