Tickle Creek Whitebark Birch

Coarse, lacy, deeply cut leaves fill out the new, slow growing Betula utilis var. jacquemontii ‘Tickle Creek’. Young, rough textured white twigs turn to smooth copper the second season. Copper colored trunk and branches mature, in time, to the white bark similar to the parent tree. This exciting new plant was discovered at our Tickle Creek farm growing as a witches broom on a large Whitebark Birch. Grow in full sun and well-drained soil.
