Hazel Smith Giant Sequoia
Sequoiadendron giganteum ‘Hazel Smith’ shares the typical, large, pyramidal form of the species, but with bluish foliage and better hardiness than the species. Selected by Don and Hazel Smith of Watnong Nursery, New Jersey, the dramatic tree was named to honor Mrs. Smith posthumously.
