Low Glow Japanese Red Pine
The short, thick, bright green needles of the vibrant Pinus densiflora ‘Low Glow’ keep their color all year long. They grow densely along stout horizontal branches that give the unusual pine a flat-topped, low-growing habit. Prominent tan buds add interest to this seedling from a witch’s broom selected by Sydney Waxman, University of Connecticut.
