Fastigiate Japanese Plum Yew
Dark green, shiny needles radiate along the vertical branches of Cephalotaxus harringtonia ‘Fastigiata’ make them look like brushes. With age, the striking, upright conifer produces multiple, bottle-brush leaders and takes on a vase shape. Plants prefer shade and they make dramatic, mid-size focal points, hedges, or clusters. They show good deer resistance too, and when established, tolerate drought and heat well.
