A naturally dwarf tree selected in the Netherlands, this selection forms a dense, compact spire with soft, rich-green foliage that begs to be touched. The finely textured foliage, solid trunk and beautiful habit give the small tree the impression of great age, even when young. A deciduous conifer, its foliage changes to attractive red-brown in autumn and the leaves hold for many weeks. Plants respond well to pruning and can be kept small and narrow with hard late-winter pruning.
