This dense, slow-growing selection of Japanese Umbrella Pine has a definite leader when young, but broadens with age. Short, dark-green needles and a compact stature distinguish the beautiful cultivar. It was selected by John Mitsch, Aurora, Oregon, a plantsman who generously shared new plants with Jean Iseli and other conifer enthusiasts.
