			Ongoing efforts by Iseli Nursery to find improved compact conifers resulted in the discovery of this outstanding narrow pine. Upright branches on the tall, trim tree display pairs of attractive, dark green needles with accents of silvery-white fascicles and bark. Since ‘Emerald Arrow’ gains 9-12 inches in height per year and reaches about 10-12 feet in 10 years (depending on conditions), it gives the impression of being a big tree, yet it stays decidedly narrow. So, it offers the lush look of a long-needled pine, but fits in small spaces. Whether used as an individual focal point, paired to mark the entrance to house or garden, or grouped in an informal cluster, this beautiful garden pine scores a bull’s eye on the designer’s dartboard. Superior resistance to disease and pests, combined with salt and drought tolerance and very little needle drop, assure that plants look good year-round.
