			The short, thick, bright green needles of this vibrant, dwarf Japanese Red Pine keep their color all year long. They grow densely along stout horizontal branches that give the unusual pine a flat-topped, low-growing habit. Prominent, tan buds add interest to this seedling introduction from a witch's broom selected by Sydney Waxman, University of Connecticut.
