			The broad, upright habit of this selection is fairly open in youth, but it narrows with age. Its glossy, sharply cut, three-lobed leaves with a holly-like look are dark-green with yellow venation. Many small, white blossoms decorate the tree in fall. With high resistance to browsing deer, this Japanese False Holly from Brookside Gardens provides texture to a mixed planting.
