In spring, light yellow-green leaves with striking red margins emerge. They change to shiny, light green in summer and mellow yellow in fall. The thick leaves with noticeably longer center lobes vary in size. The dwarf palmatum with a rounded crown is ideal for small spaces, including rock gardens, containers and bonsai.
