Ashfield Weeper Canadian Hemlock

Tsuga canadensis ‘Ashfield Weeper’ is an irregularly-shaped weeping hemlock with arched and pendulous branchlets that are covered with lots of dark-green (larger than the species) needles. The tree’s smooth, gray bark combines with its swooping branches, draping branchlets and small cones and buds to create a uniquely elegant look in the landscape. Use it as a specimen to anchor a formal bed or entry planting.
