Cave Hill Bald Cypress

Taxodium distichum ‘Cave Hill’ is a classy, rounded ball of short, gnarly branches that has been grafted onto a standard, where the delicate, feathery foliage can display its dramatic show of seasonal changes. Selected for winning color, slow growth and compact form, the small, deciduous tree is tough and adaptable to most soils, except alkaline. A witch’s broom selection from Cave Hill Cemetery in Tennessee, the small, deciduous tree wants plenty of moisture and full sun.
