Picea-glauca-Achat

Achat Dwarf Alberta Spruce

Picea glauca ‘Achat’ is a slower growing, more compact version of the familiar and very popular P.a. ‘Conica’ (Dwarf Alberta Spruce). The thick coating of fine needles emerge a pale yellow in spring. Foliage color has changed to green by early summer. The dense foliage and tight form make ‘Achat’ a good prospect for use as a holiday tree. Moist, well-drained soil and full sun will allow this hardy plant to thrive.
