Chamaecyparis-obtusa-Melody

Lacy sprays of attractive lemon yellow foliage let this plant stand out in the garden. Found as a sport on C. o. ‘Graciosa’, it is slower growing than its parent. Narrow when young, it broadens with age. Winter brings bronze tones to the tips of the yellow foliage for a nice seasonal change. Tolerates full sun but flourishes in partial shade as well. Well-drained soil is a must.
