Blue Alaskan Cedar

The elegant blue form of Alaskan Cedar, Chamaecyparis nootkatensis ‘Glauca’ develops into a dramatic, conical tree with graceful sprays of soft bluish green foliage. In summer, blue tips stand out against the older foliage and give the tree a decorative look. Use the stately conifer as a moderate-sized specimen or as an outstanding large hedge that rewards pruning with bright new growth. Trees thrive in moist and coastal conditions.
