Plant Name Description Annual Growth Ten Year Color Form Culture Hardiness
Picea omorika 'Bruns' The strongly upright branches of this spire-like spruce reveal bright white stomata on the undersides of the needles, which gives the tree a shimmering silver cast. Its pyramidal form and dense, graceful branches create a striking silver-blue structure, wider at the bottom, sweeping up into a spire. Uncommon in the trade—don’t confuse it with ‘Pendula Bruns’—this large, handsome cultivar commands attention. Plant it in deep, rich, well-drained soil in full sun. 12"+ 10-12 ft. Blue Green Upright Broad Full sun -30 to -20 F
Picea omorika 'Gnom' Green above and white below, the two-tone needles are typical of the species, but this plant is unique with its gnome-like stature. From a wide, rounded base, layers of dense branches slowly taper to a point at the top. Texture, color and form work together to give 'Gnom' a pleasing appearance that deserves use as a focal point. 3-6" 3-5 ft. Green Upright Broad Full sun -30 to -20
Picea omorika
'Nana'
A compact form of the Serbian spruce. Dense,  globose when young, developing into a broad pyramid. Like the species, 'Nana' has white stomatal bands on the lower leaf surface, dark green above, giving the plant a bicolor effect. 3-6" per year. 3-5 ft. Bluish Green Upright Broad Full sun. -30 to -20 F
Picea omorika
'Pendula'
This magnificent formal tree has an open form in youth, with branches gracefully recurvate and strictly weeping branchlets. Time and maturity increase this plant's beauty. 'Pendula' shares the lovely, bicolor appearance of the species. Truly an outstanding garden addition. 12"+ per year. 10-12 ft. Bluish Green Pendulous Full sun. -30 to -20 F
Picea omorika
'Pendula Bruns'
A weeping form of Serbian spruce selected at Bruns Nursery in Germany. The strong weeping habit of this tree is much more accentuated compared with omorika 'Pendula'. 6-10" per year. 5-8 ft. Bluish Green Pendulous Full sun. -30 to -20 F
Picea omorika 'Pimoko' Color and texture set 'Pimoko' apart from other dwarf Serbian Spruce selections. The showy, dark green needles, accented with a bluish cast and silvery undersides, seem to sparkle. Reddish brown buds add to the effect too. Globe-shaped when young, this superb rock garden plant develops multiple leaders and an upright, broad shape with maturity. 3-6" per year. 3-5 ft. Bluish Green Upright Broad Full sun. -30 to -20 F
